Who says "L.A. has no history"? Those that do don't even care to find out.
American urban history is so east-coast-centric that it tends to ignore the equally,
if not more, interesting histories of its western cities. The history of
Los Angeles is so extensive, this web page will only touch on mere pieces of it.
But at least it will make you more aware of what and who was here before.
